Y. Lynnette Kelly, Esq.
The firm’s sole practitioner, Y. Lynnette Kelly, has years of boutique intellectual property law firm experience in the creation and prosecution of patents in various technologies, including chemical, mechanical, and biotech. Prior to the law firm, Attorney Kelly gained valuable experience as an examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office where she examined chemical and chemical engineering patents with particular emphasis on the food art.
Attorney Kelly graduated Central Connecticut State University with a B.S. in Chemistry, with emphasis on Environmental Chemistry. She earned her J.D./M.S.E.L. from Vermont Law School in 2006. Attorney Kelly was a Vermont Law School Dean’s Fellow, a notes editor on the Vermont Law Review and senior managing editor of the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law.
Prior to attending law school, Attorney Kelly was employed as a QC/QA chemist in the food science industry, as a research associate performing QEA through PCR in the biotech industry, as a computational chemist performing HPLC analysis in the pharmaceutical industry and as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force Reserves.
Attorney Kelly is also a senior lecturer for Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies in Boston, Massachusetts where she teaches Food, Drug and Medical Device Law and Biomedical Intellectual Property Management.
Attorney Kelly is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and Connecticut and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
